5 - 11 September 2010
Jesus College, Oxford, England

Each year of the Oxford Offshore Symposium has introduced new elements to the programme as the organisers strive to ensure that the Symposium remains respondent to the ever-changing needs of all those involved in this sector.

Bringing together distinguished professionals from all around the globe, the Symposium provides an opportunity for delegates to interact and debate with an international faculty of lecturers thus benefiting from their collective knowledge and expertise throughout the duration of this weeklong event.

Each day is structured to address a particular theme and chaired by an expert in that particular field. Traditional lectures are combined with panel discussions and open floor debate which focus on the obstacles that stand in the way of protecting, preserving and distributing wealth; the methods of overcoming such challenges; and techniques for International Tax Planning.

To enhance the practical element of the programme, delegates will work throughout the week in small case study groups. Each group will present their individual case to a panel of judges on the final day. This will be followed by a reception and formal closing dinner at which the winning case study group will be announced and presented with the Willoughby Memorial Award
